Most shop owners experience that a large number of product searches contain typing errors and therefore can not be found with the internal search function. Even if there are products in the shop that might fit the interest of the user. Not found = not sold. You dont have to live with these missed sales anymore!

With this module shopwoners gain the ability to satisfy their customers and generate transactions even if the customers show some spelling uncertainties. The module calculates similarities between the users search term and terms found in the product data. Those are sorted by relevance and proximity to the users search term. The user receives immediate assistance for improvements of the search terms and gets the ability to adjust and restart the search with a single click on one of the term suggestions or directly choose one of the suggested products.

The administration backend allows a wide varity of settings to adjust the behaviour of the module to fit your individual needs and
the data of your shop.

Information about server-load and parse-time!

On a HostEurope WebPack L the module itself needs a runtime between 0.2 and 0.8 seconds for a search across 5000 products in standard configuration. (tests at: DEMO) The runtime may perform lower or better on other hosting-plattforms. For larger and heavyly visited shops this module may only perform under special conditions. You shouldn't encounter any problems with product databases up to 2000 products under a shared-server enviroment of common hosting-companies.
